Emirates Palace is a landmark luxury hotel and architectural icon in Abu Dhabi. Known for its grand Arabesque design, expansive grounds, and world-class hospitality, it has become one of the city’s most recognizable attractions as well as a destination for international visitors, major events, and state guests
Since opening in 2005, Emirates Palace has become a symbol of Abu Dhabi’s ambition and hospitality. It regularly hosts international conferences, cultural events, diplomatic gatherings, and visiting heads of state, while also appearing in films and serving as one of the emirate’s most photographed landmarks. Management transitioned to Mandarin Oriental in 2020, followed by extensive renovations that refreshed the property while preserving its iconic identity.
The palace blends traditional Islamic architectural motifs with modern engineering. Its distinctive skyline features 114 domes, including a monumental central dome, while the exterior’s warm color palette echoes the surrounding desert landscape. Inside, visitors encounter marble, intricate geometric patterns, crystal chandeliers, and decorative finishes that reinforce its palace-inspired aesthetic.
